Counseling

Welcome Jaylee as our on-staff counselor, with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Louisiana State University–Shreveport. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Louisiana Tech University. Currently, Jaylee is a PLPC (Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor) in the State of Louisiana and a NCC (National Certified Counselor) through the National Board for Certified Counselors. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages, but she has a special passion for supporting children and adolescents ages 4–17. She believes early intervention and emotional support can make a meaningful difference in a child’s development and overall well-being. When working with clients, Jaylee integrates techniques from play-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and person-centered therapy, tailoring her approach to meet each client’s unique needs. She is committed to creating a safe, welcoming space built on trust, where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. With children, she brings a fun, engaging approach to therapy that encourages participation and helps them feel comfortable expressing themselves. Her goal is to make the therapeutic process approachable, meaningful, and effective for every client she serves.
